Environmental Design and Water Features
waterfall and pond.jpg
Sculpted tranquility
A six-foot-high waterfall and massive rock features enhanced this landscape center-piece. Measuring 40 feet long, this landscaping did not require truck loads of rocks, tractors and hoists. Sculptor Thomas Pottage created the entire piece out of light-weight materials.
The vastness of the exterior sculpture is illustrated in the final photograph below where a portion of the home is adjacent to the streams, waterfalls and rocks. A special mixer of synthetic and natural materials creates rocks that are durable and long-lasting and much easier to arrange around the pleasing flow of water.

Archeological touches
A figure and a waterfall sculpted for the movie Congo illustrates the creative touches that may enhance special places in the garden. Environmental sculpture is as important at home as it is in business, providing a momentary retreat from harsher realities. This piece from the movie represented a 12-foot tall abandoned temple sculpture.
